Dear All,

I work in the safety shoe business, in a pretty good company, but in my free time my secret dream is making some classic shoes/boots at home :)

I have the oppotunity of buying a PFAFF 463 - 4 - 900 AL machine for 100$, in good conditions, modified to be a POST machine, with a roller foot.

According to you, may I use it to stitch leathers 1.5/1.6 mm (1/16")? That become 3.0 mm (1/8") when overlapping two pieces...?

If I read on the Numbering system of PFAFF I see that "L" stands for "Machine equipment for leather operations" but "A" stands for "MAchine equipment for light materials", so that this is a bit confusiong for me :)
