jeffkframe Report post Posted January 4, 2015 (edited) Almost finished with my first holster. Just have to burnish the edges but waiting on my burnisher to get here. How did I do? Edited January 4, 2015 by jeffkframe
snubbyfan Report post Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) There was something, I stared at it for a while and I think I got it figgered out. It's the basketweave. I like to overlap my stamping. I feel it helps to tighten up the pattern a little. I'm lookin' forward to seein' the holster finished. Edited January 5, 2015 by snubbyfan
jeffkframe Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Thanks for the tip. I was trying to connect the ends, but overlapping them makes it soooo much nicer. I have enough leather for another holster and will definitely do that the next time. BTW I have seen a lot your work on another forum and think you do great work. Someday I hope to get that good. snubbyfan Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Lookin' forward to seein' it. There's so much leatherworking talent here and on other forums, I'm just trying my best to get somewhere in the same neighborhood of being in their league. Since I can't do the fancy carvin', I pay extra attention the little details.
