Members ENC Posted February 15, 2015 Members Report Posted February 15, 2015 It sounds like you are talking about block dying and or block dye removal. Wrap a layer or 2 of t-shirt around a flat object, credit card or 2x2 works well. After dying the low areas with a light color, drag the block with the top color across the top and the darker dye will just go on the surface. You can do the reverse with water based paint. After dying everything thin the paint and put it in the low areas and then quickly remove what slops onto the surface with a damp cloth on the block. Ray Quote
