ddivizio Report post Posted November 25, 2008 My parents used to own a company that made fashion handbags and belts. The company went out of business, but Mom kept some of the best leather. Mom passed away recently, and I have found myself with 80 pounds of leather from the old sample making room, which I would like to sell. The pieces range from 12" x 12" up to approx 24" x 36", and a variety of colors, from standard black and brown to metallics. Most are smooth finish, but some are embossed. I don't know enough about leather to describe it any better, but would be happy for someone to come and look at what I have. I am located in Finksburg, Maryland. I would like to turn what is 80 pounds of clutter for me into a great opportunity for you. Mom always said she had $1000 worth of leather in the closet. I am thinking $200. Please contact me with your questions, or for directions. Thanks.
toot Report post Posted November 27, 2008 It sounds like you are wanting to sell this in one lot, and I guess I don't blame you. But I am desperately looking for my first couple of pieces of project leather for 1 or 2 arrow quivers. The pieces that are about 24" X 36" would be ideal for me. I would be very interested in 1, or 2 pieces of veg. tanned if you were able to do it. Please contact me with info. Thanks, Toot
