Hello all,

I've been making bags that are turned (sewn inside out and then turned right side out). I use finished veg tan leather and often times during the turning the leather gets creased and wrinkled. I've heard people mention wetting the leather first to make turning easier but it's not really an option for the leather that I use. Anyone with good experience on how to turn bags while minimizing the wrinkling?

Have you considered chrome tanned leather for those types of bags. Also what thickness of veg tanned leather are you using, some photos might help too.
