Thanks for the manual and not liking to hear it will not handle very thick leather but hopefully if I take my time and go slow I hope it will work enough to get me into another machine. There was a GA5-1 sewing machine for sale but the people never had any contact info for it. That machine is suppose to sew up to 7/16" I guess. I have about 175.00 into this Singer so should be able to get my money out of it if I sell I think.
