I'm glad I found this forum, as I suspect that I'd likely make rather a huge number of mistakes in my first leatherworking projects without it. I've been working with my hands for many years with everything from woodworking and metalworking to 3D printing (you'd be surprised how much finishing one of those things can need). Now, I've got a specific project that I'm starting out with, and it requires that I mount a loop on to an existing belt to mount a small camera for an upcoming trip where I'll want fast access to it. I'm not sure if it's appropriate to go into details in this board, so I'll leave it for now and familiarize myself with as much as I can.
