Tandy Embossing Rolls With Bunkhouse Machine

Has anyone used Tandy embossing rolls with a bunkhouse embosser machine?

While I have not used them on the Bunkhouse machine, I've done the reverse. They both use a 1" bore so I see no reason while it should not work.

It would probably just need a bit more pressure to make sure the roll comes in contact with the leather.

The reverse is not always true because bunkhouse uses a larger Outer diameter on their rolls that what the Tandy machine will support. On a couple

of rolls that were a smaller OD, they worked just fine. Cheers!

Ok thank you! You think the tandy rolls will fit on the bunkhouse machine i just need to adjust the amount of pressure against the leather?

I recently orderd a bunkhouse machine and still waiting for it to get shipped to me but Im wanting to use a older tandy wheel if i can find anybody that has it, if it will work ok.

I believe they will work. At the very least, Tandy has a no question return policy, so if they don't you're not out anything but postage.
