Aftershock51 Report post Posted November 20, 2015 I am new to leatherworking and I want to make unique wallets. I don't want to use veg tan because none of the dyes come close to the colors I want. Is upholstery leather good for making wallets? I am looking at buying this leather in particular: http://springfieldleather.com/41117/Hide%2CUC%2CWaxy%2CCobalt/ Also, is upholstery leather actually made of real leather? If you are looking at springfield something like this: http://springfieldleather.com/18742/Hide%2CKampelli%2CBrandy%2CSqFt/ looks really nice. Ive been eyeing it up myself for some wallet products.
