White Leather Belts - How?

I have received an enquiry about white leather belts with black lettering. I use veg tan bridle leather and use fiebings oil or spirit dyes. I will stamp the letters first but whats best for white? I want something durable and that I can paint over for the black letting, I assume acrylic will be the best for this.

Is there a white spray paint that gives a good durable coating? or is it acrylic all the way.

Im afraid as acrylic sits on the surface that it will just peel over time.
