flerg777 Report post Posted December 18, 2015 Long time lurker, first time member. This forum has been very helpful to me over the past year or so, as I began dabbling in selling some leather goods. I started out wanting to make some leather arm guards for my fledgling archery instruction business, and quickly realized that I'd found something I dearly love -- a medium to be both artistic and useful. I've expanded into belts, slings and straps, and possibles bags and sporrans. I greatly enjoy it, though I am frequently beset by artist's block (which I've heard is a Californian's excuse) and wildly fluctuating confidence levels. I'm a big fan of my local Tandy Leather, I must add, because the employees there are so wonderful, and there are options for getting into leather work that were within my price range. Thank you for putting together such a wonderful forum here! I hope I may one day contribute. I have already learned much!
jroberts3001 Report post Posted December 19, 2015 I struggle with artist block as well. It's also a Kentucky thing too!
