Members savagepunkstudio Posted March 21, 2016 Members Report Posted March 21, 2016 Hey everyone- I'm Andy, co-owner/maker at a little home costuming and leatherworking business called SavagePunk Studio. I first started working with veg-tan in 2013, when I made a tricorn hat for the pirate-themed Vegas wedding where my wife and I got hitched. I didn't start taking it seriously until after I made a suit of armor for our cat as an elaborate inside joke, and some of the pictures went viral- that's when I started getting requests for commission work. I quit my day job in the summer of 2015 to go full-time, and haven't looked back- it's a lot of work to stay afloat, but there isn't anything I'd rather be doing professionally. I specialize in leather armor and accessories for the LARP and Ren Faire crowds, concentrating on making one-offs as memorable and distinctive as I can. website: https://savagepunk.com on etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/savagepunk Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/savagepunkstudio/ Quote
Members savagepunkstudio Posted March 21, 2016 Author Members Report Posted March 21, 2016 These are some pictures of my newest completed armor, a 10 and 6 ounce hardened cuirass with abdominal lames and pauldrons, for a woman. The customer wanted something Iris-themed, and I'm a sucker for Art Nouveau. Quote
