Interested in finding out the history (including previous owners if possible) of an old N. Porter Roping Saddle we now have in our midst.  Serial # is stamped into leather.  It's nothing fancy, but there are some circumstances where it might have some value if we obtain proof it once belonged to a certain famous person.

Tried inserting photo.  Wouldn't take.   But can place in an e-mail.

Not sure if this is still current but I have a friend who is apparently in touch with the descendant who has whatever remains of the original N. Porter saddle records.  If you are interested I can try to put you in touch.
