Utility/oiled Leather suitable for tote bags, where to buy?

Hello Everyone! 

I am looking for some advice please, I am looking for a suitable alternative to Kodiak leather to make leather tote bags from? The price of Kodiak Leather has gone sky high in the UK over the last year. 

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
