Production Assistant – Part Time

ARTIFACT manufactures leather and fabric carry goods and accessories in Omaha using only the finest leather and materials at 2709 Leavenworth St.

 We are seeking part-time help with:

·      Die and hand cutting leather and fabric

·      Assembling product using handwork and machines

·      Chemically finishing hardware

·      Maintaining materials inventory

·      Other duties as needed

 Looking for detail oriented individuals who possess strong pride of work, as well as the ability to take direction and continue projects independently in a production environment.  

 Qualifications:

1. Experience with hand skilled craft (leatherworking, woodworking, metal/body work)

2. Excellent visual/ spatial skills

3. High attention to detail and consistency

4. Ability to independently lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for extended duration

5. Able to work a minimum of 15 hours/week
