KingsCountyLeather Report post Posted April 2, 2018 (edited) Slippery needles. I’ve only been leather working for a short while and learned a lot from this forum. one of the best tips I’ve received so far is using latex finger covers when I’m hand stitching. I’ve used pliers and I’ve used bees wax to grip the needles but when I use these finger covers (I only use them on my thumbs) I can sew all day long. Maybe this will help someone else who’s having problems gripping needles and maybe others will share other ideas that have worked well for them. It would also help if you gave a heading for the tip at the top first for easy searching? And maybe one tip per entry? But as often as you like. Thanks for sharing. Ger.
