New to site, relatively new to leatherworking

Just wanted to drop a line. I've recently joined the forum to increase my knowledge of leather-craft as a personal hobby. 

I've only been working with leather for around 6 months. More tooling than fabrication, pattern making. I've done a couple of Tandy wallets, a daily carry bag for my girlfriend, and some patches for myself and friends. I really enjoy tooling but I'd like to begin moving toward constructing and building patterns.

I've recently picked up a 'new to me' Consew 225. I would appreciate any resources that are Consew 225 specific, or just beginner sewing tips.
