Members thelinkmaster001 Posted May 25, 2021 Members Report Posted May 25, 2021 I am making a leather slipcase for a MacBook Pro based on the instructions from the Slip Pouch project in Nigel Armitage's leathercraft book. (Amazon Link Below) In this particular chapter, he recommends using a 3-4 oz. weight. All I have at the moment is a 5-6 oz. Can I use that as a substitution? If so, are there any things that I need to keep in mind? Amazon Link: CLICK HERE Quote
Members zachseaman Posted May 25, 2021 Members Report Posted May 25, 2021 It'll be fine, just alittle thicker. The only thing I can think of that might be different is i would probably cut the dimensions 1/16" - 1/8" bigger to compensate for the width of the leather when folding/ bending Quote
