I made the mistake of trying a red dot scope on my redhawk, and shattered one of the inside pieces of glass on the first shot. That's what I get for trying to be cheap! Customer used a Bushnell scope. I do not have the firearm here so I do not remember the particulars. I beleive it to be a fixed power (maybe 2.5x).
