Messenger Bag

Hi, just wondering if anybody outhere has a simple pattern for a messenger type bag I have access to a cylender arm machine this will be my first attempt also is chrome tan leather acceptable and at what thickness any help would be great and thanks in advance!

That should give you a starting point, if you want a simple style bag. You can also use the search function with the terms 'MESSENGER BAG' for some other options.

Yes, chrome tanned leather is a good choice, as it will be a little more resistant to the environment (rain, scuffs, etc.) and won't need as much finishing work to the leather. A note on using chrome tanned leather- the edges should probably be turned to hide the edge, as it doesn't burnish well.
