Dyeing Pig Leather

I'm about to make a billfold for myself and have some pig for the inside pockets. I'm not real crazy with the color so I'm going to dye it. Anything different I should know vs dyeing cow?

Is it veg tanned pig? Because if it isn't 'tooling pig' I would use a test piece if not and see if you CAN dye it without it wiping right off. JMO. Cheryl

It's tanned glazed pig from SLC.

I was planning on doing a test piece just in case.
