  3. Hello, Thank you for your reply. Yes, they are what I'm looking for. How I missed that while looking through Tandy Web site I'll never know. What should I use for the sole? I will use a deerskin for the "upper" boot. Gus.
  4. Hello, I am relatively new to Leather work and I have made a couple of Holsters and Cuffs for my hobby. I found this forum while looking for information on on how to make some half chaps. I did find all I wanted to know here! top marks huh? Now I want to find a pattern and the " how to make" instruction for making "Mountain man boots" Anyone out there know where I would find them? Also I don't want them too heavy and wondered what would be the best material to use... Thanks Gus
