Looking for a Floral Pattern - Rudbeckins

Recommended Posts

Hi, All.

I'm looking for a pattern of Rudbeckins (almost sounds like a delicatessen to me) large enough, or enlargable, for a notebook cover.

The 2006 Traditional Cowboy Artists Assoc. catalog cover has one, done by saddlemaker Rick Bean of Meridian, Idaho. (Also an inside story on him with GREAT photos). Anybody out there either have a pattern for this style, or can refer me somewhere??

Thanks mucho.

Not being a flower guy myself, I had to look that one up. I saw lots of photos under google images.

Im pretty sure someone will come along with some help for that one...in the meantime check through the Floral carving/Sheridan posts, and read as much as you can that's posted here and there. There's lots of info about how to do carving layouts and patterns. Some really good ones can be found.

In case anybody should ever return to this question . . . while rummaging thru the old Doodle Pages, I came across 2 pages with similar flowers: pages S5bp10 and S5bp12. These are called Black-Eyed Susans and New England Aster, respectively. It's the flower itself, without a surrounding Sheridan style. So, if you want the flower, it's here. If you want it in a Sheridan format, you're gonna have to draw it yourself or find it elsewhere.
