I will be selling limited numbers of Barry King tools at 15% off and Diamond B Leather brand tools at up to 34% off retail price. I will be sending an email out later today to all my customers but I decided to give the leather for the love of it first shot. Simply go to www.diamondbleather.com and click on specials and you have 70 plus items on sale. I do offer free shipping on all orders over $100 in the US. International orders are welcomed with exact shipping charges applied. This was posted on the leather for the love of it and Johanna asked me to post in the forum. We are blowing out all the Barry King tools and We are taking our shop to another more custom and consignment base. I also have a large lot of 1950's craftools that will be going in the consignment area in Sept. Good luck to all and hope everyone gets the tools they want.
  3. No I hide the outside button in the lining so I have more room on the front of the spur strap to tool. I came up with this style about 3 years ago and everyone of my customers love them. I use to put a tab on the backside to hold the button, they just did not hold up. The straps total out at 11-13 oz and the heaviest is the lining with 4 oz on the front.
  4. This is the first Titanium swivel knife. Only at www.diamondbleather.com

  6. Hello to all on Leatherwork.net. I would like to introduce myself and my company. I have had a desire over the past few months to start a business that only sales Premier Leathercraft supplies. My dream is now a reality at www.diamondbleather.com you will find only the best tools from Barry King, Hackbarth, Hides to Art, and the best leather Hermann Oak. I'm working with other top Makers to add much more. I know that we all start off with beginners tools but for most of us we move up to a more professional lines. I came up with this idea because I want to give others the chance to buy tools from makers that do not have websites, and only hear about them on the forums and see their tools at trade shows. I know that not everyone gets to go to the trades shows, and these guys make some awesome tools for our craft so my goal is to bring them to the world wide web. Every tool on my site comes with a 100% lfietime guarantee, this is not only from the maker but myself. If you buy a tool from me and recieve it and do not like the tool I will gladly refund your money no questions asked. Of course when you use these tools you will fall in love with them just like I have. Not only do I sell these tools but my love is Leather work, I enjoy making custom pieces and teaching classes when I get the chance so you can be assured that I'm not just a guy selling tools I have a full custom shop right along side of the supplies. If anyone has a question about myself or the tools please feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to answer any questions.

  10. Sorry, this was a multiple picture upload so I have not found out how to go back and add a title. But these are spur straps for one of my good friends. Hope this helps.
  11. This is my favorite finish to use, I start off applying be natural saddle oil on the leather, after this soaks in I will apply a clear top coat ( I use the sheridan resist by bee natural also). I then apply feibings sheridan brown paste antique finish, and then apply another coat of the top coat. The only thing you have to do with the past is apply heavy and wipe off the excess quickly before the paste dries. I apply the paste with a damp sponge and then use damp paper towels to wipe off the excess. This give you a great two tone finish with a dark background and really makes the tool marks and cuts POP!!! Hope this helps all. Sorry it took so long to respond. I'm with Tiller. New to the art and haven't been able to get any of my carvings to turn out with that type finish. Any tips?
