Hello everyone, In my quest to do research I found that there are a fair number of people who would like to know about reliable sellers of leather goods and hardware etc. within Canada. I thought I would share my list of resources that I've acquired during researching. Leather Supply and workshops – Hand and Sew Leather (leathertools.ca) https://tribalspiritmusic.com/ https://www.oaleathersupply.com/ Zelikovitz.com | Zelikovitz Leathers - Serious Crafts for Serious Crafters (zelistore.com) https://leathersmithdesigns.com/ Lonsdale Leather Home - Tundra Leather Native Craft Store, Beads and Leather - Winnipeg Tradi…

Not sure if this topic is in the right place. What I would like to do is to get a moderator to 'Pin It' in the most suitable section in the Forums. When I read posts about almost any subject on here, I seem to spend ages trying to hunt down the easily obtainable equivalents to those mentioned in the post. Even if items are obtainable they tend to be very expensive if UK stocked and dispatched and generally out of the question if sent from the States. There are one or two examples of the reverse problem, I'm thinking of Dixon Tools and Tiger thread which you who live in USA find difficulties with. So what I am hoping for are lists of equivalents, suppliers posting with t…

Different feel today. I've been pretty vocal about Tandy, and specifically the one in Des Moines, IA, not being ... lets say up to par Stopped by there yesterday, hadn't been in there for quite a while. Lauren - the new-to-me store manager (she's been there a bit, but I hadn't) very pleasant, very knowledgeable. GOOD to meet people who both KNOW and APPRECIATE leather and the craft. The whole store got a face lift. Now much brighter in there and easier to find what you're needing. They still have "classes", but with this girl I'm confident you could ACTUALLY learn something about working with leather (some of you been around a while know I would not …

My family ran a leather belt making business for decades. Mostly out of Springfield, OH and Mackinaw City, MI. We have these amazing machines that cut cow hides into strips as well as a few other machines (edger, button press). No longer making a lot of belts, who wants to give em another life?! Free to a good home

Hello all! I am desperately searching for the book by Bob Park, Creating Western Floral Designs. I owned this book in the past and either misplaced it or loaned it out and have forgotten who. Does anyone know where I might find it in stock? Does anyone have one they would like to sell? Any leads are appreciated. Thank you! Rick

Hello, please forgive me if this is not the correct format for this post, this is my first post in theses forums. If there is a better / more appropriate forum for me to post in please advise. Thank you. I make clicking press knives. I can manufacture almost any sized knife and can incorporate prickers and punches. I also resuface press boards, my process ensures that the board faces are perfectly parralel and perfectly flat. We also offer a press cutting service, every order cut on a fresh board for perfectly clean cut edges. Please visit www.ibendknives.co.uk www.iplaneboards.co.uk for a contact form Many thanks.

To be honest, I don't know the correct name of these things.....a wood or plastic base with a raised metal cutting edge that you place leather over and press to get a shape...I'm looking for some one who can do a custom shape.....basically an outline of the state of Tasmania here in Australia. See attached pics.....something like the map outline, roughly 2" / 50mm square, but stylised, less detailed.....if this makes sense ?? Roger
