Thinking About Kids Lately

I just got through working with the little boy next door on some leather and it got me thinking about kids. We mangled a bracelet, and some hair-on-hide and he had a great time, and I enjoyed it too. We went outside and made a matting tool out of a stick, and he stayed and worked on leather while his mom ran to get his sister.

I like knowing that for a while most days he's respected and listened to and enjoyed. And it got me thinking of all the scouts a friend of mine works with and how many lives she's impacting. And just an overall wish that all the children tonight were listened to and respected and enjoyed for a while.
