Hello everyone,

Joined recently on this forum, I introduce myself.

I will have 70 years this year, I am retired passionate about leather work that is not my original job and that I learned alone by surrounding me with the advice of knowledgeable professionals.

Riding brought me 31 years ago to leather work and since then, I have evolved in other areas such as harness and leather goods.

My English is school, so not very good so please forgive me the mistakes I make and hope to make me understand anyway.

I love sewing by hand and so far what I did was sewn for 98%.

I had an excellent very big saddler machine (United Pearson No. 6), which I no longer used and that I just sold and is now in Taiwan.

I just bought another sewing machine that I make familiar; I saw on this site that sewing machine specialists say good and so far, I share their opinion.

This is a Durkopp-Adler 269-373 gun, old which has been completely redone and tested by a sewing machine mechanic.

It is powered by a Powermax AH 27 servo motor, with a power of 750 W which allows a working comfort that I did not know until now.

It is also equipped with a removable work table which increases the comfort for the flat work.

I still have to adjust important parameters such as table heights (it is mounted on wheels) and toggle.

Beaulama - welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing your projects!  You do nice work.

What is the item in image 2773 (1)?  Looks like a blowing horn or powder horn.  Also, the belt shown in 9109 & 9110, I have not seen belt loops attached like that and am wondering how you sewed them onto the belt.

Look forward to seeing more of your projects.

Hello Gary, thank you for your comments, the item in image 2773 is a hunting horn for what a friend of mine wanted a leather on it. so, I did it.

On the images 9109 & 9110 I had adopted the Hermes system, so the keeper can't be loosen. I am often inspired by Hermès as you can see, they are for me the best in the world and their success is the evidence of it.

I don't like the Louis Vuitton bags but really like the Hermès ones, this is the reason why I make Birkin bags for friends of mine.

Here is the last one I made in "veau grainé autruche" I don't know how it is called in english.

Alain.
