Beautiful! How do you do the scalloped edge? Did you take a round punch and cut half away and hand punch each one? Also, what thickness is that leather. I tried with a 4 oz leather and when I set the spots, it really messed up as the leather was so thin, the spots would not set well. Hints to overcome please :)

The spots are on a red chap leather that was glued and sewn to the 6/7 oz leather, I had a round steel punch that was broken I had a guy clean it up for me its a little bit more of an arc than just half . almost shaped like a C.that is how I made the scallops. I usually have to cut one leg of the spots off and fold it over.
