BevJones Posted January 21, 2011 Report Beautiful! How do you do the scalloped edge? Did you take a round punch and cut half away and hand punch each one? Also, what thickness is that leather. I tried with a 4 oz leather and when I set the spots, it really messed up as the leather was so thin, the spots would not set well. Hints to overcome please Quote

Hints to overcome please The spots are on a red chap leather that was glued and sewn to the 6/7 oz leather, I had a round steel punch that was broken I had a guy clean it up for me its a little bit more of an arc than just half . almost shaped like a C.that is how I made the scallops. I usually have to cut one leg of the spots off and fold it over. Quote
