Members Eldorado Posted February 11, 2011 Report Quite nice! What tool(s) did you use to get the pebbling between the symbols? Quote
Members Cyrex Posted February 12, 2011 Report The pebbled background tools used are the Tandy E294 (medium size) and the E294-04 (small size). There is a larger size too but I never use it. It's one of my favorite backgrounding tools. Quote

It's one of my favorite backgrounding tools. Thanks very much. I like it alot and want to use it on some of my renaissance pieces. I take it you used a light touch with it to make it look pebbled? I realized I've been using the large version of these tools and striking it quite deep to create a border pattern that is very definite. You can see it on my most recent piece at http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=29726 if you have interest. Quote
