Members ayn Posted December 25, 2011 Report Greetings, My intro; About 4 years ago I started leathercrafting small leather cases out of necessity. Being disabled and active. I require a more reliable case to secure & insure my tools & devices longevity. I got tired & disappointed in commercially made cases, because I found most of the commercial cases I bought in the past, did not last! All of the leathercraft projects are hand made and hand stitched. Several family & friends have asked me to make leathercraft items, I followed through. Only recently I had been asked to instruct student classes, making small leather cases at a local Tandy Leather store. I enjoyed teaching, as well as learning from my students! I hope to see prior and new students in years to come. In addition to teaching leathercrafting, another major goal of mine is to learn how to make shoeware, boots and orthotic shoes/boots for folks that need a practical & reliable orthotic shoe or boot that can meet their specific needs or demands for their lifestyle. In due time, I hope that I can establish open communication of ideas, meaningful words of encouragement, tips, do's & don'ts, advice etc Being that today is that special day that Christ was born, I shall rejoin my family and close this intro of myself for now. I pray that everyone have joyous, loving, and safe holidays with family and friends (including our non human friends!),... ayn Quote
