Andies Clone Bags 04

Andies Clone Bags - One twin asked for a pair of clone bags for her and her sister as a birthday surprise. I also incorporated a logo they use into the billet strap to really emphasize that these are unique satchels.

Completely handstitched throughout, the brief was that they needed to be able to comfortably hold an A4 writing pad and iPad.

With over 50" of strap on each bag, thats a huge amount of stitching...but it will help prevent the strap from stretching, and really adds to the overall look.

As only my second time making bags, i'm really pleased with the finished product....and more to the point, Andie is delighted with them!

Nice work. I'm looking for someone who can come up with a pattern similar to the Expedition Bag sold at theleathershop.com

What would you charge me if you did the work?

do you mean for me to draw up a pattern or a completed bag?

i've never really drawn one up before other than the fairly basic design for a satchel. I tend to design and make as i go along.

The method i find works for me is to use semi stiff card which i cut to the size i want then use staples to fasten along the stitch lines. Once I'm happy everything is working in card and i have a life-sized card satchel, then i remove the staples and I'm left with a pile of cutting templates.
