A handmade leather SAP (slapjack), Leather paper weight, Leather book weight, Slapper, Leather beavertail is an old and somewhat nostalgic design. The head and body are filled with lead slugs and lead shoots. The body has a piece of spring steel. The device is stiff but also has a bit of flex. You can use it simply as paper or book weight, or decide like many people to carry one in your vehicle, pocket, or purse
