Hi all

I've read bits about Neatsfoot oil and that I "might" need to put it on the leather after tooling, but then let it dry for 24 hours. I went to my suppliers website and spotted "Pure" and "Compound" oils - the compound in 3 sizes. (Link below)

My questions are -

1. What is the difference between them,?

2. Which should I use.

3. What would the "other" one I don't use be used for?

Many thanks.

Alan

1.) compound is a mixture of the neatsfoot oil and "Other" stuff depending on the manufacturer

2.) Always use Pure

3.) Don't use the other because you might end up with something you don't want on your leather.

pure is as is PURE, and compound is as Cyber thrasher said a mix of something....thats why it is cheaper and not pure....like Olive oil, virgin is pure and expensive....good stuff, second harvest or just pure olive oil is a mix and much cheaper.
