About Me

47, married 25 years, 2 daughters 21 and soon to be 18. I am a professional welder of 30 years and a professor of welding for 10 at a commun ity and tech college. I enjoy making knives without ANY electricity. Nowadays I buy my steel and forge less. All shaping, sanding, chamfering and finishing is by hand with files, I use NO electrical equipment (no sanders). Couldn't find a good local sheath maker so decided to try myself. I fell in love with leather working.
