  1. Still new to the forum and leather. Also more looking to sew heavy canvas/webbing. So if not the right please to ask, let me know. Besides my 'fairly new' Singer 7-10 and my 15k88 which has seen quite some work. I now have the option between a 78-1 and a 45k1 only have the funds an space for one. Are they good for medium to heavy canvas work of do I have enough with my 15k88 and 7-10. I know no sewing machine is the same with al the different uses..
  2. Thanks! I will give it a go with the 794. With some luck its set up with that as the owner bought it years ago from the army of navy but never used it And yes I was surprised about the 66 stuff so I was not so sure about the needles :D
  3. Last week I became the owner of a Singer 7-10. Complete with table, motor, bobbins and shuttles. Just no space atm to put it al up. And no idea if the motor works. Hope to get that done soon. Only in the manuals I can only find that the 7-10 uses Singer 7-18 needles. I cannot find any needles of modern types for it can someone help me out? I did get some Schmetz 794 nm 250 needles with it. But also some 66k shuttles and bobbins so not sure if that will work too.
