Just a former farm kid living in a big city. I did some leather tooling in 4H back in the day, made molded leather masks in high school, and dabbled in leather-bound medieval bookbinding during the COVID lockdown. I don't have much experience with practical leather projects, but after a month trying to find somewhere that sold sturdy, full-grain leather belts, I bit the bullet and ordered a 10oz side. So. We'll see how deep this rabbit hole goes.
