Fourth generation leather carver. Father was a saddlesmith. I learned my craft from my father. Waited for him to build me, my belt after I  won my first trophy buckle. Took so... long I  attempted it on my own. Not much success. Started taking my many attempts for him to critique. "Do this, do that. Change the way you do this, to that." Eventually I  leaned some. But not to his level. I'm  okay but his work is off the chart! I wish I  spent more time with him when he was alive. Still the best leathermith I  ever saw.
