Horse trainer and clinician who was dissatisfied with available saddles. Did leatherwork as a kid, and resurrected the tools and the rusty skills to start repairing tack and building holsters for myself, then progressed to a saddle...steep learning curve. Got it done and hated it, tried again and loved the result. Have built 5 total for myself. Never intend to make a business out of it, but enjoy the therapeutic effect of working with my hands on a piece of equipment I'll put to use.
