  1. I found a juki ls-321 ($350) and a artisan 618-1sc($800), which one would be better? I plan on just getting something tat can handle at least 12oz of veg tan for now then in the future just get a cobra class 26 Plan on using a #22 needle with a 138 bonded nylon thread
  2. Do you think this can handle 14oz veg tan leather? been thinking about picking one up but Im not sure if it can handle a 2 layer 9oz and 5oz belt.
  3. what about the Speedway SW-335? do you think that one can handle 12oz vegtan?
  4. I narrowed it down to 3 options Sailrite leatherwork consew t1919 artisan 29-172 (can’t find much info) Plan on using it for around 6oz of vegtan leather, also wondering which one would be able to do 12oz vegtan. Keeping my budget around $1000 for now, the artisan is for sale locally for around $800 usd.
  5. I have the chance to pick up a singer 241-2 near me, I happen to see mixed answer so I'm not sure exactly if its good. It looks like its in pretty good condition and it has new oil as well, if I do end up getting it I would upgrade it to a 750W servo motor and i'll be using a #18 needle and #69 thread. Would this be able to stitch 2 pieces of 4oz veg tan leather? Its listed as $300 but I managed to get it down to $200.
  6. I'll probably just pass by and give it a try, ill see if I can bring some needles and #69 thread as well
  7. I found one locally for a pretty good price do you think it can handle 2 4oz pieces of veg tan leather?
