I’ve been sewing for years, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sat down at my machine and completely blanked on the right stitch length or tension settings especially when switching between different fabrics. The idea of using cheat sheet labels is so simple but so genius. I don’t know why I never thought of it before! I’ve always relied on scribbled notes in random notebooks or worse just winging it. This is going to save me a ton of frustration, not to mention thread.
I run a small domestic corporation that makes handmade leather accessories, and consistency is everything when we’re fulfilling bulk orders. One off stitch and it ruins the clean aesthetic our customers love. Having these quick reference labels directly on the machine would help streamline our production process a lot. Definitely planning to implement this for each machine in our workshop. Honestly, it’s the little things like this that make a big difference in a busy workspace.
