  1. The more I looked at it, the more I thought it was impossible for a human being to carve it by hand - that’s why I assumed it had to be done with a laser or something. I mean, the forehead - it really looks like metal, like old, pitted cast iron. Mindblowing! Congratulations sir - it's a true masterpiece! Also thank you for your detailed answer, I really appreciate that. Love the trick with coarse sandpaper - I would never have thought of that - thanks for sharing!
  2. Oh wow! This is amazing! Is it really a leather? How did you achieve such texture, such fluffiness of the white parts and such a "cast iron look" of the grey sections (I love the parts above eye sockets)? Is it laser etched or tooled/stamped? Do you have any work in progress photos? Or maybe some pictures from various angles (the eye sockets seem quite deep and the cheekbones are popping up - would be nice to see it from an angle). Wow!
