I’ve been doing leatherwork as a practical hobby for about 6-7 years.  Started with making my custom carpentry tool belt and  eventually starting making shoe lasts, and shoes.  Ugly at first but durable and super comfortable.  I’ve made a number of styles for myself and others mostly as gifts.  Slowly acquiring tools to do less with hand stitching (for the sake of speed).
