The Paul Burnett Free School of Leather Ornamentation has begun. Here is the first lesson in the Painting 101 course. In this first lesson I deal with the main misconception. Can you guess what it is? It is the doubts you have about yourself and your ability to overcome them in order become a successful painter of realistic carvings. I will introduce you to the paints I chose and why I chose them for the medium for this course.

I am looking for outlines of maple and oak leaves small enough to fit on a 1 1/4 inch belt. Does anyone have something I could use?

I signed up for the painting class but it hasn't gotten off the ground. I had already bought paint to I decided to try something. Pictures are attached (I hope). Let me know what you think and how I can improve. Oops, when I try to upload the photos I get an error message that says the file was too big to upload. How do you upload pictures?
