I am a computer 'guru' by profession, working in a small family-owned shop. I moved them from old SCO Unix to Linux, developed an Imaging system and started them down the path of Windows development, web design, email servers and other things. I've been with them for 12 years and climbing now.

In my spare time, I help my wife with her budding sewing business (www.classicthreads.net) - she specializes in Renaissance and Medieval clothing. I became fascinated with the idea of adding some leather accessories and items to her clothing, and bought myself a basic leathercrafting tool kit and some cheap leather scraps. From there I was HOOKED!

I'm still barely starting, struggling to learn, and find this forum to be the most useful tool of anything!
