Lexol is the product I see recommended for bike seats. I'm about to make a couple of seats this winter. Have a Honda SuperHawk and my buddy rides an Aprilia. What weight and type of leather are you intending to use? Vegetable tanned, latigo, chrome tanned?

From anyone who has experience upholstering bike seats, I would becurious to know what finish, tanning technique and weight leather you'drecommend. I want to point out I'm not talking about tooling theleather, I'm talking about upholstery style finishing, but that willoffer color-fastness, weather resistance and a soft hand. Thanks!
