Worked in the leather business in the 70's. Made and tooled belts, then moved into designing, making & selling leather bags and small luggage pieces.

Am interested in getting into building leather motorcycle seats, based on long distance comfort. Will build one for me and a buddy this winter and have a longer term interest in building them as a small business in my retirement.

I need to learn pattern making and to use a heavy duty sewing machine, since my former bus. partner did the stitching part of our former business.
