  1. Do you have an extension table? Who carries parts for the Ferdinand? Do you have a manual?? I am a newbie to sewing machines. What is the range of thickness the machine is rated for? Does it have a servo and reverse.
  2. Like to have opinions on anyone having experience with Neel's Model 5 machine. a. Ease of use. b. Will it do 2 pieces of 4 oz leather? c. Will it do 3/8" thick leather?
  3. Please provide your thoughts on the Techsew GA5-1 sewing machine or the Techsew 2603 seewing machine. I will mainly be using the machine for chaps, chinks, and tack such as bridles, slobber straps, etc. Are these dependeble machines?? Which one would be the best for my use??
  4. I have noticed in several places where people state that they reinforce the chap zipper with leather. Anyone have an opinion on how to do this?
  5. Sorry. I don't mean the chap leather. I am talking about the chap yoke.
  6. I just saw some information on applying antiquing to chap leather, and I want to be sure I am on the right track. The steps listed are as follows: 1. Apply neats foot oil and let it dry for 24 hours. 2. One coat of Neat Lac 3. Apply Antique Finish (paste) 4. One coat of Tan-Kote 5. Another coat of Neat-Lac. Will the antique still adhere after the coat of Neat Lac? Since Neat Lac isn't sold any more, what should I use instead. Thanks.
