[Dyeing Sheep Skin?]

I bought a sheep skin from Tandy and it whiter than white. As it is going to be a loose seat cover for my bike that isnt likely a good color. lol I am thinking black would be the best. I know they can be dyed but I have no idea how to go about it. Any suggestions? Products to use? How to's?
