  1. Hello!

here is one Adler 120-8 for sale in Norway. And model before that, the Adler 20. These machines are not for sewing thin stuff thats for sure! The machine originates from the Singer class 7, You can se the similarity on the Adler class 20. I want to buy one for heavy harness work, but they costs! Similar model are made today by Consew, Gllobal, cowboy sewing machine and more. But you maybe know this from before! But here is some pics.

  3. Hello folks

    Brand new person here

I have perused this forum and many other sites in search for a sewing machine that would walk on water, I have found many beautiful pieces of equipment, but alas the dollar sign had me go catatonic to many time, so looking at what I had been doing, hand work, I decided to make myself a stitching horse so to help with an extra hand.

It took me three weeks and now it is done, I am a blacksmith from the old country (France), and I could have done all kind of iron work on it, but I challenged my self to do it without a single piece of metal in it.

No screws, no bolts , no nails, no metal hinges, and even the spring was done by soaking a piece of white oak in linseed oil for a few days.

The legs are rhododendron, the seat black walnut, the under cross bars dog wood, and the jaws white oak.

I soon as I figure out how to post pictures, ( I am not the swiftest ), I will do that to show the folks

Thank you, this is a great board
